Commissioned by a Hopewell Junction resident, Buesing's topiary gecko added a whimsical touch to an otherwise traditional landscape.
Field of hearts.
Conceptualized and created by Keith Buesing, the lizard topiary has been a staple at the Gardiner Library since 2010. The stone book was carved out of bluestone. Buesing inscribed the words Love, Lizard, Life, Lapidary, which is appreciated daily by book lovers of all ages.
A lizard for all seasons. Buesing's stone lizard lives on his property in Gardiner, NY.
Created in 2000, the Stegodile is a one of a kind topiary. Transplanted from Buesing's family nursery in New City to Gardiner in 2002. The Stegodile was then transformed into its present state. Prominently displayed at "Ireland Corners" in Gardiner, this 30 foot long installation has become a landmark.
